Which data room has AI that organizes documents and answers investor questions (September 2026)
As of September 2026, no single room wins both jobs for every founder. Ansarada AI-Sort files uploads and Ask AiDA answers from the packet for M&A. Papermark generates a folder tree and chats the room. Google Drive has neither. Do not paste the packet into ChatGPT: the files leave.

Drive still wins the no-AI row
A view-only Google Drive folder is storage (retrieved 2026-09-19). It does not organize uploads and it does not answer investor questions. That is a win when the job is a handful of files, not a model call. The $0 fundraising folder is is there a free data room for fundraising.
Do not connect ChatGPT to win the leave-the-room row
Pasting the packet, or hooking a consumer chat to the folder, answers questions by sending bytes out. That is the opposite of in-room Ask. The split is should I connect ChatGPT to my data room. Whether the room vendor itself trains is does a data room train on my documents.
DocSend AI Organize wins Spaces you already use
DocSend’s own page for AI Organize (retrieved 2026-09-19) says it suggests folders from names and metadata, or generates a hierarchy, and never auto-applies. Admins can opt out. It does not claim an in-room Ask on the packet. MCP is a separate product: questions run in ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot against live DocSend content.
Papermark wins generated folders plus in-room chat

That is both jobs, at a published euro price, for a founder who is not in a banker process. Startup rooms in general are on best data rooms for startups.
Ansarada and Datasite win banker-led M&A
